This is another video from Cloud and Townsend. Its called the Difference between hurt and harm. I thought it was a good one to remind people there is a difference, and so that next time the abuser says to you, "You hurt me when you do that" it may help placed things into prospective. Help place the guilt away, because it isn't needed. Alot of times we take unneeded and unwarranted guilt.

Afraid to trust because they will hurt me

I have learned to never trust anyone because I will be hurt. My stepdad hurt me. My mom blamed me. My dad abandoned me. I've had abusive relationships and friends who have used me. The friends I have now I keep at an arms length but I want to learn how to trust and be close to someone. Where do I start?
