I mainly wear long-ish dresses and skirts, although they are far less reminiscent of Michelle Duggar and more reminiscent of Giselle in Enchanted.
But when i go to the pool--i wear nothing but bikinis. And the reason? I do mermaiding. I have a monofin and i swim like a mermaid, and so i enjoy it much more when i wear a bikini. And--the only man who eyes me is my soon to be husband. Mainly kids approach me asking questions about the fin (not the bikini!).
As for 'traditional womanhood'...i embrace it.
However, my reasons are not what you think. I endorse those ways of life for EVERYONE, man woman and child. A way of life that rejects violence and abuse. For me, being a keeper at home or a 'traditional woman' isn't the problem--men (and women, too!) who embrace violence as a way of life IS the problem. A simple farmer, with a homestead and organic fruits, veggies and grains, preferably vegetarian, not male or female, simply peaceful.
May you be blessed in every way.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
